Homilies for Weddings & Funerals
Drawing on his own experience, Joseph Pollard delivers here a varied and broad collection of homilies for weddings and funerals. The homilies focus on the personal element of both of these occasions. They are set against the background of social issues and ethical values, and within a theology of hope. Joseph Pollard has spent most of his priestly life in California. He served as Director of Adult Religious Education for the Archdiocese of Los Angeles and later as Communications Officer. He has been a parish priest, and chair of the theology department of St John Seminary, Camarillo. He now lives in Co Galway.
